Chalgrove-Away

After another long lay off due to the weather and teams postponing, our last game being on 27/01/07 against Abingdon away, we hoped to play at home this morning but after last nights rain the whole of one goal mouth was full of surface water, so very kindly Mark at Chalgrove organised everything and we played our home fixture at Chalgrove with our Ref, Tony Rogers kindly travelling and doing the Reffing.

First Game Won 5-0
Team Kieron Massingham,Tate Rogers,Tremayne Barrett,Thomas Van Gucci,Jack Tutton,Ross McMahon,Leyton Brandon.

Great game with Jack Tutton opening the scoring with a shot from just outside the box,Leyton Brandon raced away and placed a shot from an acute angle passed the keeper,Ross McMahon crossed and a side foot finish from Jack Tutton ended the half 3-0, At half time we spoke about passing, moving and that was all that was missing from our display but this would come with a run of games which we unluckly haven't had lately. Great defending display from Tate Rogers and Tremayne Barrett who always listen and react and give the team a solid base to start from.A Jack Tutton lob over the keeper and a Leyton Brandon goal finished the scoreline.

Second Game Won 3-0
Team Kieron Massingham,Cameron Innes,Tate Rogers(Thomas Dunning Half Time),Robbie Morton,Lester Davies,Cameron Gray(Tremayne Barrett 5mins),Locky.

Another game with alot of effort and skill, Robbie Morton opened the scoring with a close finish in the box, this was the half time score,At half time the lads were full of the joys of spring had a drink and wanted to get on with it,Locky broke from the halfway line and slotted passed the advancing keeper, and Tremayne Barrett scored with a low hard drive from just inside the box after a couple of great runs, Defending and goal keeping again by Kieron Massingham,Tate Rogers,Cameron Innes and Thomas Dunning were superb this is a must to give both teams a solid base to build from and another clean sheet.

All the boys enjoyed this morning and once again thank you to Chalgrove for being so accomodating and allowing all these boys to play football this morning.

Keep it up lads and well done this season.

Rob Tutton
